RaQ 550 comes with an intuitive Web-based administration interface divided in 3 management levels: "System", "Site" and "User".

Web Serving
Integrated support for HTTP/ 1.1, Active Server Pages (ASP), PHP 4, Common Gateway Interface (CGI) Perl scripting, and FrontPage 2002 support.

Virtual Sites Support
RaQ 550 offers name-based and IP-based virtual sites. IP-based virtual sites can be limited to a pre-selected throughput rate using Cobalt Bandwidth Management.

RAID 0, 1
The RaQ 550 includes software RAID 1, which ensures the availability of content in the event of disk failure through data redundancy over multiple disks. RAID 0 offers enhanced performance by striping multiple hard drives for maximum throughput.

 
Email Services and WebMail
Services include mail accounts for each domain, automatic vacation responses, automatic forwarding and group mailing lists. In addition to the standard mail protocols, Cobalt WebMail provides users access to their email through a standard Web browser.

Cobalt BlueLinQ™ Application Delivery Service
RaQ 550 automatically informs the administrator of available system updates and patches or new applications.

SQL Database Support
RaQ 550 integrates the InterBase™open-source database, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Development Environment
RaQ 550 includes a full suite of development tools, including GNU C/C++ com-piler, Java™ Development Kit, Programming languages (perl, python, tcl/tk), Text editors (emacs, vi, pico), gdb debugger, libraries & X11 libraries and more.
