This document will explain
HOW to set your Cobalt Microserver to run primary and
secondary DNS.

1. Setting up primary and secondary
DNS
A. In you RaQ Level administration go to

You will see a screen like the one below:
The Primary DNS Server Address is the same
address as your main machine (the admin.myserver.com IP
address). The Secondary DNS Server Address must
another IP address that has been allocated for your
use.
After you enter that information
press . The server
may tell you that it is unsure whether or not that IP
address is a real DNS - you can ignore that message.
B. Next you must add the secondary DNS to
your RaQ as you would a normal virtual
domain. -->

bring up a screen like the one below:
C. Now you must add the DNS records.
Got to --->
(click on the parameters link like the one below)
You will need to select "Reverse Address
(PTR) Record" from a drop down box like this:
This will prompt you to enter the name and the IP
address. Do this for both the admin and ns2. After
you are done the screen should look like the one
below:
Success!
You now have set up admin.myserver.com as the primary
DNS and ns2.myserver.com as the secondary DNS! You
may want to create an "A NAME" record that points "ns1"
to admin.myserver.com.
